Alice! Health Promotion Program
Nelson joined the Alice! Staff in May of 2007.  He conducts statistical analysis using National College Health Assessment Survey data. A San Francisco Bay Area native, Nelson moved to Southern California to attend UCLA. After graduating, he moved to the East Village and began working at MSKCC, helping coordinate grants for translational research. After a year of working full time and going to school at night, he decided to focus more on his studies. Currently in the Urbanism and the Built Environment track, Nelson is interested in the intersection between Public Health and Urban Planning. Nelson’s hobbies include practicing yoga, riding his bike, catching shows at the Bowery Ballroom, and reading food blogs.
