Dr. Minnie Taw joined Health Services at Columbia in August 2004. She attended the University of California at San Diego and received her M.D. from Finch University of Health Sciences/The Chicago Medical School. Prior to becoming a physician, Minnie participated in the AMSA Foundation's International Health Studies Center - SALUD program where she volunteered and observed the health care delivery system of Tuxtla-Gutierrez, Mexico and learned Spanish while living with a Mexican family.

Minnie is trained in both Internal Medicine and Pediatrics.
