Anna Tekippe joined Health Services at Columbia in 2005. She is the Program Coordinator of the Rape Crisis/Anti-Violence Support Center. Prior to joining HSC, she was the Director of Community Education at the Center for Anti-Violence Education in Brooklyn. In her efforts to end sexual and relationship violence, Anna has worked as a counselor and advocate and has provided education and training to social service providers, students, educators, community organizations, and healthcare providers. Anna is originally from Iowa and comes to New York via Chicago and Austin, Texas. She has a degree in English and Gender and Women’s Studies from Grinnell College.
