Columbia University is offering all students a new dental option this year. The Aetna Advantage Dental Plan gives you the ability to select a primary care dentist (PCD) from the large Aetna Network. The participating dentists are conveniently located within the tri-state area and some offer weekend office hours. This plan provides a wide range of service options including preventative and diagnostic care following a $5 per visit copay.

The premium is $251 for students or $913 for the student and family plan. The enrollment deadline is February 1, 2009.

Please note that enrollment in the Aetna Advantage Dental Plan is open to all students, and you do not need to be enrolled in the Columbia Student Medical Insurance Plan to take advantage of this plan.
