New Students

Welcome to Columbia! Health Services at Columbia (HSC) is part of the University’s Student Services division on the Morningside Campus. We are comprised of more than 100 individuals: medical providers, nutritionists, disability specialists, health educators, therapists, psychiatrists, peer counselors, support staff, and administrative professionals. HSC provides integrated and accessible services and programs that support the well-being of the campus community, and the personal and academic development of students.

The spring 2008 enrollment/waiver request period for the Columbia Student Medical Insurance Plan on the Morningside Campus has ended. For a description of the Columbia University policy on medical insurance coverage go to Columbia Student Medical Insurance Plan.

If you have questions about your insurance enrollment status, please email hs-enrollment@columbia.edu.

The enrollment/waiver request system will be available again to returning students in July 2008.

Students at Columbia’s Medical Center Campus may utilize medical services at Student Health Services and are eligible to enroll in the Medical Center Campus’ health insurance program .
