Self-Assessments
Columbia Health provides several self-assessments for students through Alice! Health Promotion. If you’re interested in learning more about your sleep, alcohol use, cannabis use, or nicotine use, click on the links for the assessments below.
Self-Assessments
Columbia Health provides a variety of self-assessments to help students learn more about themselves. These are brief, anonymous surveys to help students learn more about their habits. These assessments include:
- Sleep Self-Assessment: Helps students determine the factors that help or hinder their sleep, to better focus the tips and resources provided
- Alcohol Use Self-Assessment: Helps students determine whether their alcohol use results in a low, moderate, or high risk to their health
- Cannabis Use Self-Assessment: Helps students determine whether their cannabis use results in a low, moderate, or high risk to their health.
- Nicotine Self-Assessment: Helps students examine their relationship with nicotine. Students will take this before attending a Nicotine Cessation appointment to explore methods to reduce and quit nicotine use.
Your responses to the assessment questions will be recorded and used to inform future efforts to support students’ sleep and substance use habits. Your responses will remain anonymous and will not be shared beyond the Alice! Health Promotion team.
When taking the sleep assessment, you may be prompted with the option to schedule a Health Education Visit. This appointment is meant to explore your relationship health topics such as sleep, stress, time management, and more.
When taking any of the substance use related assessments (alcohol, cannabis, or nicotine), you may be prompted with the option to schedule a BASICS or nicotine cessation appointment based on your results. These appointments help you to explore your relationship with substances and any behavior changes that you’d like to explore.
