Daniella Phillips

Daniella (she/her) joined Columbia Health in January 2025. In her role as Associate Director of Student Case Management, Daniella evaluates and interprets disability documentation to determine eligibility for accommodations and services; serves as coordinator/case manager for a small cohort of students with disabilities; supports students in resolving disability-related issues that may be a barrier to accessing programs; liaises with other departments within Columbia Health as well as academic deans, global programs, graduate and professional programs, libraries, and other administrators to implement accommodations; and supports faculty and administrators regarding strategies for meeting the unique needs of each individual student.

Daniella is a life-long public school educator who has worked as a teacher, principal, and superintendent in NYC schools. In her free time, she enjoys reading, traveling, and taking walks with Coco (10-year-old dog).
