Grace Zimmer

Grace Zimmer, FNP, joined Medical Services in September 2023 as a member of the Morningside Practice Clinical Care Team. Grace provides primary care services for students with a focus on health promotion and education, providing treatment for acute and chronic injury and illness.

Prior to joining Columbia Health, Grace worked as a Family Nurse Practitioner in community health in the Burlington, Vermont, serving the healthcare needs of patients across the lifespan through in-person and telehealth visits, providing care services in acute and chronic primary care as well as suboxone for patients with OUD; reproductive

& sexual health inclusive of contraception, pap smears, PrEP, hormone replacement therapy and care for new Americans. She began her career as a primary care nurse in Appalachia where she first became interested in the health promotion and education as well as the importance of illness and injury prevention in primary care.

When she isn't working, she enjoys travel, cooking, art, languages and the outdoors.
