Mina Wolloh
Mina (she/her) joined Columbia Health in 2024 as a Registered Nurse at Medical Services. She is a member of the West Clinical Team. In this role, Mina provides pre- and post-clinical visit assessments; follow-up of patients for interim continuity of care by clinicians, emergency department transfer, hospitalization, and procedures; acute and chronic primary nursing care, wound care, travel assessment, allergy assessment, and the administration of vaccines, allergy shots, and medication.
Mina brings 7.5 years of experience in college health to Columbia Health, having most recently served as a nurse at the Health Services at Brown University in Rhode Island. In that role, she gained expertise in all aspects of students’ physical and psychological wellbeing, with a focus on urgent care, immunizations and health promotion. Prior to her career in college health, she worked in acute care at Rhode Island Hospital.
Mina’s professional interests focus on the social, cultural, and economic factors that influence students’ ability to maintain their health, well-being, and sense of belonging in school. She considers cultural competency as essential in supporting students for optimal health outcomes. Mina leverages her life experience and dedication as a health professional to advocate for students effectively.
Outside of Nursing, Mina enjoys exploring her new home, New York City, with her three daughters, enjoys outdoors events, walking, volunteering, and cooking her traditional foods.
