Robyn Austin

Robyn Austin (she/her) joined Columbia Health in 2025 as an Intake Specialist with Sexual Violence Response (SVR), providing confidential, survivor-focused services and trauma-informed care.

In this role, Robyn serves as the initial point of contact for outreach and support for student survivors: triaging incoming calls and drop-ins, assessing urgent needs, and facilitating timely scheduling of survivor visits. She also conducts thorough intake assessments and crisis interviews, coordinates with medical and social service, and works in collaboration with the entire SVR staff to ensure services and support are provided in a timely and efficiently manner.

Prior to joining the team, Robyn was a Treatment Family Foster Care (TFFC) Sociotherapist and TFFC Case Planner with The New York Foundling, as well as the Internal Medicine/ICU unit at the Queens Hospital Center. 

Outside of work, Robyn enjoys traveling, reading, coloring, gardening, and watching SpongeBob Squarepants.
