Samuel Hoelzle

Samuel (he/him) joined Columbia Health in 2024. In this role, he provides overall planning, quality assurance, supervision and coordination of clinical care provided by Associate Director of Nursing, Assistant Director, Infection Prevention & Public Health Support, Assistant Director, Clinical Support and Senior Case Manager and ensures day-to-day management and evaluation of services to accomplish effective service delivery.

He began his nursing career at the Children’s Hospital at Montefiore in pediatric oncology and later transitioned to outpatient nursing at NYU Langone, specializing in endocrinology. Before joining Columbia Health, Samuel most recently served as the Director of Nursing at the New York University Student Health Center.

Samuel is passionate about the people and culture of New York City. In his spare time, he enjoys reading, yoga, movies and theater. On a cold or rainy day, you'll find him watching documentaries or cooking something in his apartment in Brooklyn.
