Vincent Albano

Vincent (he/him) joined Columbia Health in October 2024 as a Case Manager on the Student Case Management team at Disability Services. He serves as a Case Manager for a cohort of students with disabilities by providing ongoing support, specialized services, and coordination of accommodations; evaluates medical, psychological, and psycho-educational documentation to identify reasonable disability accommodations; guides faculty, administrators, and students regarding disability and accommodation issues; and works with instructors and academic departments to implement students' approved academic adjustments and accommodations.

His education and experience as an Occupational Therapist has given him a good grasp on assistive technology, accessible learning strategies, and the creation of healthy habits and routines which are needed for students to be successful.

Outside of work, Vinny enjoys a good cup of coffee, a new board game, watching the New York Giants on Sundays, adventuring to breweries, and reading/watching anything sci-fi or fantasy.
