Dacia Sigler

Dacia (she/her/hers) joined Columbia Health in August 2026. As a Director of Exam Accommodations, she provides leadership and administrative oversight for accommodated exams and proctoring services across Columbia's undergraduate schools and programs. Dacia oversees Testing Center operations, ensuring compliance with university policies, procedures and applicable laws and regulations related to testing accommodations.

In partnership with the Senior Executive Director, Dacia leads efforts to maintain a responsive, student-centered Testing Center that prioritizes procedural compliance, academic integrity, and the effective implementation of approved accommodations. As a member of the Disability Services leadership team, she contributes to university-wide initiatives that support student development, satisfaction and well-being and promote full access to academic and extracurricular opportunities for students with disabilities.

Dacia is an educator and leader with 15 years of experience in K-12 education, specializing in disability access, inclusion, and student support services. Before joining Columbia, she led special education and student support programs across a network of New York City public charter schools.

In her free time, Dacia enjoys home design, volunteering at an animal rescue, and spending time with her husband and two dogs.
