Dear Students,
We hope you were able to spend at least part of the recess recharging and prioritizing your personal well-being.
We at Columbia Health know that caring for your well-being can often take a backseat to the demands of academics and co-curricular activities. Amid a charged and challenging period, here are 4 ways you can connect with Columbia Health and support your well-being, while you engage in activities leading to the end of term:
- If you are feeling unwell, consult a clinician* by making an appointment or calling 212-854-7426 option 4 to speak with a nurse, for urgent medical concerns.
- Check in with your emotional well-being. If you’re coping well, great! Keep at it. If you need a little help, consider:
- Learn how to get same-day support for general healthcare questions, accessibility accommodations, student health insurance questions, survivor advocacy, and more.
- Find a workshop or training that can set you up for success for the rest of the semester (or life).
In addition, we invite you to attend the Self-Care Fair on Tuesday, April 1 from 12 – 3 p.m. at Lerner 555. Take a much-needed pause from your studies and immerse yourself in a world of relaxation and mindfulness. Light refreshments served. Drop in anytime; RSVP encouraged.
Remember: Columbia Health is a confidential resource and support is available in person and via telehealth.
We are here to support you, so you can feel and be your best at Columbia. Please reach out when you need to. We’re here for you.
Be well,
