Mental Health Outreach

Counseling and Psychological Services provides education and training to the Columbia community. Services include:  

  • educating the community about CPS services and promoting mental health awareness on campus in partnership with student groups and administrators;
  • offering workshops and presentations to Columbia students, deans, faculty, teaching assistants and administrators on mental health and well-being topics;
  • building liaison relationships with deans at undergraduate and graduate schools, residence life staff, and others to provide information about student well-being; and
  • provide consultation regarding students of concern, while maintaining student confidentiality.
