The American College Health Association selected Columbia Health as the recipient of the Best Practices in College Health Award for its "Wellness Coaching @ Columbia Health" program, under the Health Education and Promotion Services category.
The Best Practices Award recognizes exemplary, innovative, and inspirational practices in college health through demonstrated program and/or services excellence. This is the third time Columbia Health has received this honor. Columbia Health was also selected last year for its naloxone training program.
Wellness Coaching program director and Director of Direct Services at Alice! Health Promotion, Jaclyn "Jaci" Hawkins was also selected as the recipient of the 2024 ACHA E. Dean Lovett Award for Exemplary Contributions to a College Health Program. This award honors ACHA members who have directed or contributed significantly to the development of a college health program in an exemplary manner.
